Brother Brent's Dyes LLC ("Brother Brent's Dyes," "we," "us") runs brotherbrentsdyes.com. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
When you buy something. Your name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number if you give one, and what you ordered. Card details go straight to our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
When you sign up for the HiChroma list or another signup form. Your email address and the date you signed up.
When you opt in to texts. Your mobile number, the fact that you checked the opt in box, and when you did it. We only text people who checked that box.
When you contact us. Whatever you choose to send.
When you browse the site. Our website platform, Wix, uses cookies and similar tools to keep the site working, remember your cart, and give us basic visit statistics like pages viewed, rough location, and device type. Embedded YouTube videos and links to Amazon may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.

Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.
We share only what is needed with the businesses that help us run the shop: our website and store platform (Wix), payment processing, shipping carriers, and the tools we use to send email and texts. Some pieces in the shop are made and shipped by featured artists. When you buy one of those, we share your name and shipping address with that artist so they can ship it to you. We may also share information when the law requires it.
Text messages
If you opt in, you agree to receive recurring marketing texts from Brother Brent's Dyes at the number you gave us. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes, and your text opt in and phone number are never sold or shared for those purposes.
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can also just reply and ask to be taken off.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. List and signup information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Email us at the address below and we will answer within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for asking.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and our payment and store providers handle card data under their own security standards. No method of sending or storing data is perfect.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
